Veggie Sushi Recipe

To make this delicious Veggie Sushi you will need:

-Short grain rice or sushi rice

-White rice vinegar


-Soy sauce

-Nori sheets

-For the filling I used:

-Extra-firm Tofu





*I don´t put quantities because it is all up to your taste and depends on how many sushi rolls you are making.

Preparation Process:

How to make Sushi Rice:

In my case, I didn´t use Sushi rice but Jasmine rice, which is a normal short-grain rice that they sell here in Australia.

For 2 cups of cooked rice, I used 1/4 cup of rice vinegar mixed with 1/4 tbsp of salt and 1 tbsp of sugar. Mix well the wet ingredients before you add them to the rice and add it when the rice is still hot for better absorption.

Take these measurements as a guide but feel free to adjust them if needed.

*TIP: The Nori sheet has some lines on one side and is smooth on the other, put the filling on to the side where the lines are, also, the lines should be perpendicular to you.
